Kander CEO Recognized for Salesforce Community Impact at DC World Tour
Pallavi Agarwal, CEO/Founder of Kander, a woman and minority founded Salesforce Consultancy, recently shared the Salesforce DC World Tour stage, as a keynote speaker with the co-founder of Salesforce and CTO, Parker Harris. Streaming around the world and in a packed conference stage, Pallavi was presented with the prestigious Salesforce Golden Hoodie Award, a recognition given to less than 100 global leaders for excellence in customer focus and community impact.
“As a solo entrepreneur, I had moments where I questioned my ability to build a global company that today serves Fortune 500 companies to non-profits making an impact in their communities,” notes Pallavi, “But I remembered that we all start from somewhere and would often watch Parker Harris’ videos from his early days founding Salesforce for inspiration. To receive this award from Parker, my role model, is a memory that I will cherish forever.”
Pallavi is no stranger to giving back to her community and volunteers on boards, charities, and her local DC Admin User Group, while working to inspire the next generation of women business leaders. At her panel session, “Meet Women Salesforce Founders,” Pallavi shared the challenges of building a business, but reminded the audience that without mentors she wouldn’t be able to build the successful organization that Kander is today.
