Salesforce Application Integration & Legacy System Upgrades
ERCE is a global oil and gas reservoir evaluation & energy consulting firm. The organization purchased the Resource Hero application and brought Kander onboard to ensure its smooth and effective implementation.
The Challenge
After the installation of Resource Hero, ERCE wanted to ensure the application was configured to meet their business process needs. The customer also had a legacy time reporting system where some of the processes and functionalities needed to be mirrored in the Salesforce Org.
Our Approach
Drawing on our expertise as a Strategic Partner of Resource Hero, Kander supported ERCE with a pilot roll out with the UK office and limited licenses.
Our team created managed package customizations to replicate the legacy system functionality and sunset the legacy system. Working in conjunction with ISV, we were able to eliminate conflicts with both code and processes.
The Results
Pilot Program Success. The ECRE Board approved a global rollout to Singapore and Australia offices after initial pilot roll-out.
Successful User Adoption and Implementation. The system was scaled to increase licenses for Resource Hero and Salesforce.
Effective Managed Services Transition. ERCE were able to move to managed services support from Kander after implementation, with ongoing collaboration to continue to enhance the organization to meet further business needs as needed.
